The waterjet at PLP is currently the largest of its kind in any sub contract company in the UK with a capacity in both 2D and 3D (5 axis). It is capable of handling components up to 6000mm x 3000mm x 730mm high and can cut materials up to 250mm thick.
The machine is fitted with twin cutting heads (2D & 5 axis) a drilling unit and rotary axis capability. Our facility is fitted with a crane over the working area for easy and safe loading and unloading of large components to ensure we can undertake any project no matter how large or small.
